Indication: Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) is a plasma product administered muscularly, which contains the pooled igG(immunoglobulin (antibody)G). This type of immunoglobulin is prepared with plasma from healthy donors, purified through cold ethanol fractionation under low temperature, via a low pH virus inactivation method, and nanometer membrane virus filtration, with a content of over 95% immunoglobulin. The product is used to prevent measles and contagious hepatitis by concurrent use with antibiotics. It is also used to improve curative effects against certain severe bacterial or viral infections.
